A week or so ago, I pulled out my ear buds and they were so tangled. I remember reading in a magazine about crocheting them to keep them from tangling. With a short research session, I found a pattern. The event was quick and simple. I found the pattern on ralvery.com but there are a few other patterns out there. Some are more chic and more time consuming. I was just interested in pulling the ear buds out of my bag without tangles. Maybe when I find more time, I'll go chic.
